Podcast Host
CGTN Radio, part of China Global Television Network, is hiring a Podcast Host for our news and podcast productions. This is a full-time position with a 12-month renewable contract. The position is based in Beijing, China and is only open to foreign passport holders.
About the Role
You will be part of a dynamic team producing content for millions of listeners through radio broadcasts, podcasts, website, and social media channels. Our products include the news program “The Beijing Hour” and popular podcasts such as “Takeaway Chinese.”
Key Responsibilities
- Host news programs on air and conduct live interviews
- Sit in for hosts of other radio programs and participate in promotional events
- Write and edit news content for both radio broadcast and website publication
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Outstanding communication and presenting skills
- Minimum two years of media work experience
- Strong news writing and editing abilities
- Excellent presenting capabilities
- Intimate knowledge of current affairs, particularly related to China
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays
- Team spirit and open-minded approach
- Foreign passport holder (required)
