SPH Media Limited is offering a Podcast Intern position based in Upper Thomson, Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to break into the audio and podcast production industry with one of Singapore’s leading media organisations.

As a Podcast Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the production and delivery of podcast content across SPH Media’s portfolio of audio programming. You’ll work alongside experienced producers and editorial staff to support the end-to-end podcast workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, recording, and editing of podcast episodes
  • Support producers with research, scripting, and guest coordination
  • Help manage podcast publishing schedules and distribution platforms
  • Monitor podcast analytics and compile performance reports
  • Assist with social media promotion and content repurposing for podcast episodes
  • Contribute ideas for new podcast formats and topics

Required Skills:

  • Passion for audio storytelling and the podcast medium
  • Basic understanding of audio recording and editing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom or media environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition or Audacity
  • Prior exposure to podcast production or broadcasting
