Podcast Manager and Editor
We are seeking a skilled Podcast Manager and Editor to oversee our podcast production process from start to finish. This freelance position offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of podcast production while working with a dynamic content team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall podcast production workflow and timeline
- Edit podcast episodes for sound quality, pacing, and content
- Coordinate with hosts and guests to gather necessary recording materials
- Perform audio mixing and post-production editing
- Add music, sound effects, and transitions to episodes
- Manage podcast distribution across multiple platforms
- Maintain detailed production notes and project documentation
Requirements
- Extensive experience in podcast production and management
- Proficiency in audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar)
- Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms and best practices
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Portfolio or samples of previous podcast projects
- Ability to meet consistent deadlines and manage multiple episodes
