About Trauma Rock Stars™
Trauma Rock Stars™ is a fast-growing trauma-healing podcast, brand and community founded by Tracy Smaldino — trauma survivor, keynote speaker, author and lived-experience healing advocate. We produce weekly episodes covering trauma recovery, nervous system healing, boundaries, post-traumatic growth and resilience. Our audience is primarily women who are done surviving and ready to thrive.
The Role
We are seeking a strategic, self-directed Podcast Manager who comes with proven podcast growth experience, brings ideas and solutions independently, and understands the full podcast ecosystem. This is NOT a task-executor role — we need someone who is passionate about the mental health and healing space and can execute with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Podcast Production & Distribution: Upload and optimize all episodes to Buzzsprout and YouTube. Write SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, show notes, tags, and hashtags. Create and maintain episode chapters.
- YouTube Growth: Create and post YouTube Shorts clipped from each episode. Monitor YouTube Analytics weekly and actively improve CTR, watch time, and subscriber growth.
- Social Media Execution: Execute weekly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. Post daily according to schedule. Clip episode content for Reels and Shorts. Monitor engagement and respond to comments.
- Strategy & Growth: Bring data-backed growth suggestions monthly. Identify collaboration and cross-promotion opportunities. Track metrics and report weekly.
- Email & Community: Schedule weekly newsletter in Kit. Manage Kit tags and sequences. Maintain Spotify playlist submissions.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain brand voice, colors, and standards across all platforms.
What We’re Looking For
A self-directed professional who understands podcast growth, comes with proven experience, and brings strategic thinking to the role. You should be passionate about mental health and healing, capable of identifying opportunities proactively, and staying current on platform algorithm changes.
