Podcast & Multimedia Producer

Movement is Life (MIL) is seeking a creative, strategic, and collaborative Podcast & Multimedia Producer to lead the planning, production, promotion, and growth of our two flagship podcast series dedicated to women’s health and mobility. This is more than an editing position—we’re looking for someone who loves telling meaningful stories, researching emerging topics, identifying compelling guests, creating engaging multimedia content, and helping grow a national platform.

Position Details

  • Location: Remote (Detroit-area candidates encouraged; occasional in-person office days)
  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility around recording schedules, occasional evenings, and special events
  • Travel: Occasional travel required for annual summit and select events
  • Reports To: Executive Director
  • Collaborates With: Director of Strategy & Impact, National Staff, Local Teams, and External Partners

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee entire content lifecycle for both podcast series—from concept to publication
  • Support multimedia storytelling across Movement is Life’s national initiatives
  • Help shape editorial direction and identify timely topics
  • Coordinate and interview guest speakers including thought leaders and experts
  • Produce exceptional audio and video content
  • Research emerging topics in women’s health and mobility
  • Build and grow digital audiences
  • Develop programming and event promotional video content
