Podcast Operations Manager
NeoWork is a growing US-based podcast production agency seeking a Podcast Operations Manager to oversee production workflows, maintain quality standards, and support our fast-paced agency environment. This is a long-term role with opportunities for growth and advancement into higher leadership positions. Must be able to work EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee podcast production workflows across multiple client accounts
- Coordinate production timelines and ensure projects stay on track
- Monitor team members for timely completion and follow-through on deliverables
- Communicate with clients to maintain clear and organized production processes
- Review audio, video, show notes, titles, thumbnails, and final deliverables for quality and accuracy
- Identify and resolve issues early before they impact deadlines or client satisfaction
- Jump in on production tasks to meet deadlines when needed
- Support publishing schedules and ensure timely content distribution
- Assist with planning, tracking, and overall production organization
- Train, mentor, and provide feedback to editors and show notes writers
- Maintain and improve quality standards across the team
- Refine workflows, systems, SOPs, and internal processes
Required Experience
- Previous agency experience in podcasting, content marketing, media, or client services
- Strong experience with podcast production workflows
- Proven ability managing multiple clients, deadlines, and complex projects
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience reviewing work and maintaining quality standards
- Podcast audio and video editing experience
- Experience training, mentoring, or improving the work of team members
- Clear and proactive communication abilities
- Strong ownership and accountability mindset
