About the Role

Stand Together seeks a Podcast Producer/Editor to play a critical role in shaping stories for the Army of Normal Folks podcast, a platform dedicated to inspiring ordinary citizens to take action in their communities. This position offers the opportunity to impact millions of listeners while working on meaningful social change content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the video and podcast editing process from raw footage to polished episodes
  • Transform weekly interview files into premium content including 90-120 minute full-length video episodes, audio highlights cuts, Shop Talk segments, and social media reels
  • Craft episodes with cinematic precision—trimming slow moments, elevating narrative arc, and adding music that enhances storytelling
  • Write compelling episode titles and descriptions to maximize engagement and retention
  • Optimize episodes and clips for downloads, views, and follower growth across social and podcast platforms
  • Collaborate on content strategy, advising on topics, formats, and storytelling choices
  • Work closely with hosts, guests, and stakeholders to refine content and ensure high-quality deliverables weekly

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in podcast production and editing
  • Expertise in video and audio editing software (Premiere Pro, Audition, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience growth strategies
  • Excellent storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
  • Ability to work efficiently on tight deadlines with high quality standards
  • Passion for social impact and community engagement
