About the Role

YAP Media is hiring a full-time Podcast Producer to support our clientele of top podcasters and 8-figure business owners. This role is at the heart of our production team and is responsible for creative deliverables, finalizing episodes, and day-to-day production tasks. In just two years, YAP Media has been recognized as one of the top networks for business and self-development podcasts, featuring guests like Russell Brunson, Daymond John, Maria Forleo, Grant Cardone, and Laila Hormozi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Editing: Review episodes in Descript, perform final content edits, add intros/outros, complete final export, and upload to podcast hosting providers
  • Copywriting: Write engaging, story-driven show notes and sponsorship messages aligned with client brand guidelines
  • Titles: Create clear, compelling episode titles and thumbnail titles for short-form video clips
  • Short Form Videos: Select and rough-edit 2 short-form video clips per episode
  • Episode Trailers: Create unique 30-second episode trailers for episode beginnings
  • Production Coordination: Maintain production schedules, track tasks, schedule episodes, and run QA checks
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Executive Producer and other teams to manage production schedules
  • Sound Checks: Provide sound check support when needed to ensure excellent audio and video quality
  • Communications: Communicate promptly with clients and team members via Slack and email
