CBS News, part of Paramount, is seeking a Producer, Podcasts (48 Hours & Special Projects) to lead the production of limited-series podcasts and special reporting initiatives tied to the 48 Hours franchise.

This role will focus on deeply reported, investigative content that showcases the best of what podcast storytelling can offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production of limited-series podcasts and special reporting initiatives
  • Manage 48 Hours franchise podcast projects
  • Oversee deeply reported investigative content
  • Collaborate with on-air talent and production teams
  • Handle research, booking, editing, and fact-checking

Requirements

  • Experience producing podcasts or audio content
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent fact-checking abilities
  • Comfort working in fast-paced production environments
  • Experience with narrative-documentary style content
