Produce an original podcast series exploring sociological topics for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. This role involves all aspects of podcast creation from research and interviewing through final production and distribution.
- Develop podcast concepts and episode outlines based on sociological research
- Conduct interviews with experts, academics, and contributors
- Manage audio recording and editing workflows
- Collaborate with researchers and editorial teams
- Oversee post-production including mixing and mastering
- Ensure quality standards and consistency across episodes
Required: Podcast production experience, strong interviewing and research skills, editorial judgment. Nice-to-have: Academic or research background, experience with documentary-style podcasts.
