The Conversation Indonesia is seeking an experienced Podcast Producer to join their team in Jakarta. The Conversation is a globally respected independent news and analysis platform, and this role offers a rare opportunity to shape audio journalism in the Indonesian market.
About the Role:
As Podcast Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of The Conversation Indonesia’s podcast output. You’ll bring strong editorial judgment, technical production skills, and the ability to create compelling audio content that resonates with an engaged, intellectually curious audience.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in podcast production or a related audio/media role
- Strong editorial and journalistic instincts
- Proficiency in audio editing software and podcast production workflows
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English
- Ability to manage the full production process independently
- Experience working with academics, experts, or journalists is advantageous
