About the Role
The Podcast Producer is responsible for editing, producing, and delivering high-quality UNPACKIN’ it podcast episodes that align with the ministry’s mission and voice. This is a hybrid role based in Mount Holly, NC, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, upload, and ensure smooth logistics for podcast episodes
- Handle audio recording, editing, mixing, and post-production using industry-standard software
- Upload episodes, write show notes, and manage publishing timelines
- Collaborate with ministry leadership and communications team to develop podcast series
- Integrate devotionals and faith-focused content into episodes
- Support promotional efforts across digital channels
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Maintain consistent, engaging listener experience
- Work primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on 2-3 podcasts per week
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in podcast or audio production, including recording, editing, mixing, and post-production
- Proficiency with audio software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar)
- Skills in video editing and video distribution
- Understanding of and willingness to work with AI tools
- Ability to manage production workflows and meet consistent release deadlines
- Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms, RSS feeds, and basic audio file management
- Experience publishing content to major podcast directories
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a Christian ministry context with alignment to the organization’s mission
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
