Podcast Production Intern (Jun 2026)

Join iHeartMedia as a Podcast Production Intern to assist with content research, audio editing, promotion, and publishing in a leading audio company. This internship offers hands-on experience in podcast production and the opportunity to work with industry professionals.

Your Role

  • Research guest backgrounds, episode topics, and help craft interview questions
  • Create assembly edits from raw audio, assist in cleaning and mixing episodes, and produce short-form content for social media
  • Listen to completed episodes for quality assurance and error review
  • Find clips for social media promotion and assist in creating social content
  • Help craft show titles and descriptions and schedule episodes for publishing
  • Assist with general office tasks and prepare and deliver reports as required
  • Learn job processes and requirements in assigned functions
  • Work 20 hours per week

Requirements

  • Passion for iHeartMedia’s mission and values
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, active listening, proofreading, and editing abilities
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of Adobe Audition and Descript is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
