About the Role
Kinly seeks an experienced Podcast Studio Producer responsible for end-to-end technical and creative management of live and recorded podcast productions. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role demanding precision, professionalism, and the ability to operate complex broadcast technology while ensuring an outstanding experience for on-air guests, including senior executives and high-profile VIPs. The ideal candidate combines deep technical broadcast expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills, thriving under pressure in a live studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the vMix live production system for multi-camera podcast recordings and live streams
- Configure and maintain vMix templates, scenes, transitions, overlays, and NDI feeds
- Monitor stream health across all platforms (YouTube Live, LinkedIn) and troubleshoot in real time
- Set up and manage the studio mixing console during live recordings and streams
- Manage multiple microphone inputs and ensure clean, clear audio for all guests
- Operate and switch between multiple studio cameras during live recordings
- Serve as primary on-site point of contact for high-profile guests and VIP interviewees
- Collaborate with producers, hosts, editors, and marketing teams to ensure seamless episode delivery
Requirements
- Calm under pressure with ability to manage live technical issues without disrupting on-air talent
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, warm and professional when engaging with high-profile guests
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail in technical setup and scheduling
- Self-motivated and proactive with ownership of the studio environment
- Experience with vMix, streaming protocols, and broadcast audio equipment
This is a full-time, 12-month rolling contract with a comprehensive benefits package including 401k and Flex 125 plans. Interview process includes 3 stages (virtual and face-to-face).
