About The Role

This is a full-time, remote-friendly position for a Post-Production Specialist. You’ll be responsible for editing wedding films and reviewing other video outputs from brief to delivery—ensuring every film meets our creative standards for storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment. You’ll work closely with the Director of Post-Production and Post-Production Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review video edits for storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to editors
  • Create video outputs based on client briefs that adhere to Wedding Weekender’s brand standards
  • Approve edits or request revisions as needed
  • Ensure consistency across all deliverables
  • Uphold and enforce Wedding Weekender’s creative guidelines
  • Collaborate with the social team to develop reels and short-form content
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to elevate future edits

Requirements

  • Strong video editing background with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Frame.io workflows
  • Experience in wedding videography or documentary-style storytelling strongly preferred
  • Experience reviewing and providing feedback on video outputs
  • Strong creative judgment across pacing, storytelling, and structure
  • Clear and concise communicator who collaborates well with a remote team
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
