About the Role
Devil May Care Media, Megyn Kelly’s independent media company, is hiring a Producer for “Next Up with Mark Halperin.” This remote position involves planning, developing, and managing daily show rundowns while contributing to script creation, guest bookings, and production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and manage daily show rundowns
- Create compelling scripts, soundbites, graphics, videos, and social media posts
- Generate segment ideas and coordinate guest bookings
- Conduct research and prepare show materials
- Cut video and sound bites
- Create and manage social media posts across all major platforms
- Write show scripts and descriptions
- Run show teleprompter during broadcasts
- Oversee pre-production and post-production workflows
- Track deadlines and monitor breaking news
- Coordinate logistics with guests
- Support live and recorded programming
- May require working evenings, nights, and early mornings
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working for major national broadcast, cable, digital, or podcast network
- Editing experience required
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Social media experience across major platforms
- Interest in news, politics, culture, and current events
