Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the board during local and network radio programs and sports events
  • Screen calls during local shows and manage on-air talent
  • Cut relevant video and audio sound bites for on-air use
  • Research broadcast topics and provide creative input on broadcast elements
  • Collaborate with hosts on show content and schedule guests for live interviews
  • Protect the station’s FCC license and ensure compliance
  • Assist in developing on-air promotions
  • Oversee live remote broadcasts

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in radio production or related field
  • Proficiency with soundboard operation and digital editing
  • Experience with Adobe Suite applications (Audition, Premiere Pro)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and digital web platforms
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record check
  • Dependability and punctuality
