Production Coordinator, Podcast Brand Studio (Temporary)

The Podcast Brand Studio handles the production of advertisements running across the 35+ shows on Vox Media Podcast Network, including host reads, produced reads and custom content. We work closely with sales and editorial teams to connect brands to a network of over 40M+ monthly listeners.

The Podcast Brand Studio is looking for a temporary Production Coordinator to support the Brand Studio Production team. The Production Coordinator will report to the Production Manager, Brand Studio. This role operates primarily within the Host & Produced Reads workstream, which encompasses all daily ad production across the whole of VMPN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Host & Produced reads workflow, working closely with VMPN teams, account strategists, creative producers, VO artists, Ad Operations, and audio engineers
  • Ensure all ads move through production seamlessly with no missing elements, from assignment to launch
  • Lead internal meetings with the Brand Studio Host & Produced read teams, walking through active campaigns and troubleshooting questions or concerns
  • Create and maintain timelines for host and produced read campaigns, communicating deadlines with account strategists and creative producers
  • Track VO artist assignments, draft contracts, and set up payment to ensure timely compensation
  • Create and maintain trackers, resource documents, process decks, and training materials
  • Provide general or in-office support for custom content campaigns where bandwidth allows

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in production, project management, or similar field
  • Strong interest in content production or advertising
  • Organized and skilled communicator
  • Proficient in Google Drive and Slack
  • Basic understanding of Asana, Airtable and Megaphone (or similar platforms)
