Overview
JAR Audio is seeking an experienced Canada-based project manager to lead audio production projects for top-tier clients including Amazon, Lush, Royal Bank Canada, American Express, and IBM. As Project Lead, you will manage project delivery from conception to completion, ensuring every show launches on time and on budget while building strong client relationships and mentoring project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Build and maintain client relationships through the entire project lifecycle, serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients, manage scope and expectations, and facilitate asset approvals
- Project Planning: Own comprehensive project plans including scheduling, risk management, and deliverables; lead cross-functional collaboration, conduct regular client and team meetings, and manage project management tools and documentation
- Project Financials: Manage production budgets and resource allocation, identify and flag scope creep, review vendor invoicing, and ensure high-quality standards within budget parameters
- Production Support: Assist with guest onboarding, asset collection, recording session scheduling, and creative asset management
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven project management experience
- Agency environment experience (required)
- Client-facing role experience managing multi-stakeholder teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Meticulous organizational abilities with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and Basecamp
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, remote environments
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
