Radio Producer

Audacy is seeking a passionate and resourceful Radio Producer for our Pittsburgh station (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA). This is a full-time, on-site position in our Programming department, reporting to the Brand Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radio broadcasting console, running satellite and syndicated programming
  • Oversee on-air automation systems and screen phone calls
  • Monitor transmitters and conduct on-location remote producing
  • Record readings and edit sound for broadcast quality
  • Write news stories for web platforms
  • Assist on-air talent in live situations and provide minor production support
  • Book guests for talk shows and deliver on-air traffic reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

  • Quick-thinking self-starter with strong resourcefulness and passion for content
  • Excellent writing skills with ability to engage listeners on pop culture, news, and politics
  • Sharp instinct for breaking news, human interest, viral, lifestyle, and entertainment content
  • News and sports writing skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, communication-driven team environment
  • Understanding of and passion for social media integration
  • Knowledge of automation and production software (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record check
  • Proof of vehicle insurance if using personal vehicle
