The Role
We’re looking for a Reels Editor to join us on a part-time contract basis. You’ll edit short-form vertical video for our clients—taking raw footage, product clips, and supplied assets and turning them into scroll-stopping content ready to publish on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage and supplied assets into short-form vertical video (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Add captions, text overlays, music, sound effects, and transitions to match briefs
- Cut and pace each video to maximize watch time—hook in the first two seconds, no dead air
- Deliver in correct formats: 9:16 vertical, 1080×1920, MP4, 30fps
- Maintain consistent turnaround: standard edits delivered within 48 hours
- Label and organize delivered files clearly for client account management
- Occasionally film product and lifestyle video for clients
What We’re Looking For
- Strong portfolio of short-form vertical video edits with demonstrable engagement
- Fast, clean editing with clear understanding of pacing for short-form content
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools
- Ability to work from written briefs independently
