Join a dynamic podcast production team focused on delivering high-quality, long-form audio and video content for founders, coaches, authors, and thought leaders. This freelance role involves editing 45 to 60-minute podcast episodes, ensuring each show maintains its unique personality and pacing. You will be responsible for both audio and video editing, working independently to uphold a consistent standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance 45 to 60-minute podcast episodes, covering both audio and video
  • Clean and balance dialogue, remove filler words, and address noise issues
  • Sync audio to video accurately and add intros/outros as required
  • Export final deliverables according to provided specifications
  • Maintain consistent quality and adhere to established workflows
  • Make independent editorial decisions to preserve the personality and pacing of each episode

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing conversational podcasts, including both audio and video
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional results
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret creative direction
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and editorial judgment
  • Availability for per-episode work, with potential for ongoing weekly assignments
  • Experience working with long-form content and understanding of podcast storytelling
