About the Role:
As a Researcher with BBC Audio, you will support the production team in developing and delivering high-quality audio content. You will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day production of both pre-recorded programmes and their associated podcast versions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to support programme development and production
- Assist with on-the-day production of pre-recorded programmes
- Audio edit and apply digital skills to create and publish podcast versions of radio programmes
- Collaborate with producers, presenters, and other team members to deliver editorial content
- Ensure factual accuracy and editorial standards are upheld across all content
Required Skills:
- Audio editing skills and experience with digital production tools
- Ability to make and publish podcast versions of radio programmes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Research aptitude with attention to detail and editorial judgment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment
