Segment Coordinator

This is a Run of Show position paid throughout the active production season. The Segment Coordinator will support late-night television production by managing guest materials, coordinating interviews, and ensuring smooth operations for segment producers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate guest interview materials and content, including promotional clips and plug information from publicists, studios, and networks for all scheduled late night show guests
  • Schedule and coordinate guest pre-interviews
  • Arrange screenings for Segment Producers and Host, and secure tickets to shows and events as needed
  • Liaise between Segment Producers and the Script Department to ensure accurate guest intros and outros are prepared on cue cards
  • Manage and maintain guest databases and digital files on the server
  • Research and acquire photos for guest interview segments through photo agencies and coordinate with Graphics and Art Departments
  • Source and download external clips for guest interview segments and coordinate approvals
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Segment Producers including managing phones and production-related requests
  • Research 1-2 guests weekly and prepare detailed packets for interviews
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Segment Producers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum one-year professional television or film work experience
  • Proficiency on Mac
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge (Excel, Word)
  • References from previous employers required
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to the production schedule
