Your New Role
Following Global’s recent achievement of obtaining official YouTube partner sales status, we are creating two Senior Agency Partner positions to help scale our commercial offering across YouTube video sales. The Video Sales Senior Agency Partner will own revenue delivery across a defined patch of agencies, driving sales of YouTube inventory across Global’s owned and partner channels.
The role is responsible for building strong agency relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and delivering campaigns aligned to client objectives. Working closely with the Video Sales Director, you will contribute insights from the market to support go-to-market strategy and sales positioning, while playing a key role in scaling this growing revenue stream.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial revenue across video by delivering revenue targets through the sale of YouTube podcast video inventory across a defined patch of agencies
- Lead agency and client sales, building a strong pipeline and positioning YouTube and video podcast output as premium, brand-safe environments and effective media channels for campaign objectives
- Optimise delivery and commercial performance by working closely with inventory, planning and delivery teams to ensure campaigns are executed to a high standard
- Win high-value partnerships by collaborating with partnership counterparts to drive inclusion of YouTube spot sales into partnership proposals
- Serve as YouTube and video expert, ensuring agency sales counterparts are up-to-speed on the video landscape and opportunities
What You’ll Need
- Proven track record of pitching and closing to deliver against revenue targets
- Strong understanding of YouTube ad formats, audience targeting and the broader digital video ecosystem
- Ability to build and grow trusted relationships with agencies and advertisers
- Confident in pitching ideas and presenting to customers with strong storytelling and presentation skills
- Organised and disciplined in managing pipeline and forecasting accurately
