Join NPR’s legal team in a role split between Media Law (approximately 60%) and Data Privacy (approximately 40%). This position provides expert legal vetting for high-stakes content across radio, audio-visual, and audio podcast formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal vetting for content across radio, audio-visual, and podcast formats
  • Handle media law matters and content compliance
  • Manage data privacy issues and regulations
  • Support high-stakes content decisions
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams

Requirements:

  • Strong background in media law
  • Data privacy expertise and knowledge
  • Experience with broadcast and digital content compliance
  • Excellent legal analysis and communication skills
  • Understanding of podcast and audio industry standards
