Senior Editor, Code Switch

NPR is seeking an experienced Senior Editor for its Code Switch podcast and digital content. This role is responsible for editing long-form audio stories, short pieces, podcast episodes, digital copy, and social media posts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form audio stories and podcast episodes
  • Edit and write scripts for audio production
  • Manage short-form content for social media and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with reporters and producers on editorial direction
  • Ensure content meets NPR editorial standards and audience engagement goals
  • Mentor junior editors and support team development
