About the Role
The Senior Producer Podcasts (Audio & Video) is responsible for the development, production and oversight of MBN’s entire audio/video podcast portfolio. This position requires the same sourcing discipline, editorial care, and respect for audience intelligence as all published content on Alhurra.com. The Senior Producer must create content in two languages – Arabic and English – and understand that Arabic audio storytelling has a different relationship to pace, silence, and phrase weight than English audio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and editorially oversee MBN’s complete podcast portfolio from concept through production and distribution
- Create compelling audio and video podcast content in both Arabic and English languages
- Manage show development and provide editorial direction across all podcast programming
- Collaborate with hosts, reporters, and production teams to ensure quality storytelling
- Oversee post-production workflows including editing, sound design, and mixing
- Coordinate distribution across multiple platforms and formats
- Maintain editorial standards consistent with MBN’s journalism mission
