Overview
Radio Ambulante Studios, an award-winning team with over a decade of expertly produced audio journalism for Latin American and U.S. Latinx audiences, has launched The Moment—an ambitious new weekly video podcast. We’re seeking a bilingual, analytical, and technically skilled Senior YouTube & Social Content Producer to own the complete content pipeline and drive our expansion into this exciting new format.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform each episode of The Moment into a complete set of platform-native content, from initial selection through publishing and iteration
- Independently manage the content pipeline from episode to distribution with minimal handoffs
- Make editorial decisions quickly and execute without waiting for approval or support from others
- Collaborate with Executive Producer and Lead Producer to align on priorities and receive assets
- Evaluate moments from longer interviews and determine which are worth developing into clips
- Develop packaging strategies optimized for YouTube and social platforms, including titles, thumbnails, and distribution timing
- Apply nuanced understanding of U.S. politics and audience preferences to content decisions
- Monitor content performance and iterate based on analytics and platform trends
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (native English speaker required)
- Proven experience producing YouTube and social media content with demonstrable portfolio examples
- Deep understanding of how content performs across YouTube and social platforms
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify compelling moments and narratives
- Technical proficiency in content creation, editing, and platform publishing
- Ability to work independently and make decisions without extensive consultation
- Nuanced understanding of U.S. politics and Latin American affairs
- High-output capability and comfort with fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
