Social & Digital Content Coordinating Production Intern
The Memphis Grizzlies Social & Digital Content Production Intern will work closely with the Social & Digital Content team on digital content distribution, publishing, and growth strategy with a focus on Grind City Media, the organization’s premium digital media platform featuring original podcasts and video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Support loading, publishing, and optimization of content to assigned YouTube channels and manage day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with producers uploading, publishing, and optimizing podcasts to Spotify, Apple, and other platforms via Spreaker
- Create clips in vertical video format for promotion of Grind City Media shows
- Assist in production and publishing of content in the Grind City Media mobile app
- Work with on-air talent, producers, and marketing to develop and optimize content including titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, and playlists
- Monitor emerging trends in sports video and podcasting landscape and advise on opportunities
- Maintain brand voice with high spelling and grammar standards across all channels
- Assist in distribution and posting of social media content including game coverage and show clips
- Manage fan engagement, YouTube community tabs, comment moderation, and livestream activities
- Maintain master publishing calendar with Director of Programming and Digital Content
- Create regular analytics reports and performance summaries
