Social & Digital Content Coordinating Production Intern

The Memphis Grizzlies Social & Digital Content Production Intern will work closely with the Social & Digital Content team on digital content distribution, publishing, and growth strategy with a focus on Grind City Media, the organization’s premium digital media platform featuring original podcasts and video content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support loading, publishing, and optimization of content to assigned YouTube channels and manage day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with producers uploading, publishing, and optimizing podcasts to Spotify, Apple, and other platforms via Spreaker
  • Create clips in vertical video format for promotion of Grind City Media shows
  • Assist in production and publishing of content in the Grind City Media mobile app
  • Work with on-air talent, producers, and marketing to develop and optimize content including titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, and playlists
  • Monitor emerging trends in sports video and podcasting landscape and advise on opportunities
  • Maintain brand voice with high spelling and grammar standards across all channels
  • Assist in distribution and posting of social media content including game coverage and show clips
  • Manage fan engagement, YouTube community tabs, comment moderation, and livestream activities
  • Maintain master publishing calendar with Director of Programming and Digital Content
  • Create regular analytics reports and performance summaries

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency with digital platforms and content management systems
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
