Social & Digital Video Editor for Podcast
We’re hiring a Freelance Social & Digital Video Editor, Podcast to own the creation of all social and digital video clips for a tennis-specific podcast franchise. This role sits at the intersection of podcast production, social storytelling, and platform-native editing—transforming long-form conversations into compelling short-form moments that resonate across platforms.
You will report to the Director and work closely with the podcast production team to deliver high-quality social media content that drives engagement and audience growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create short-form video clips from long-form podcast content
- Edit and optimize content for multiple social platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Twitter)
- Develop creative storytelling approaches for tennis-specific audiences
- Collaborate with podcast hosts and production teams
- Maintain consistent branding and visual standards across all social content
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor or content creator
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement
- Experience editing podcast or long-form audio content into short-form video
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
