About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer on the Alexa Audio team, you will own audio experiences on Alexa-enabled devices including Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Radio, and Ambient soundscapes. You’ll have independent technical ownership of new customer features and supporting architecture, working on voice control interfaces and scalable API platforms integrated with Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver software in complex problem spaces of Alexa Audio, working with product managers, technical program managers, and senior engineers
- Create infrastructure to integrate Large Language Models into the Audio space while championing software engineering best practices and operational excellence
- Build tools and software to evaluate, analyze, and improve model accuracy for Audio experiences while reducing latency and customer friction
- Influence the operational and engineering excellence roadmap across core audio services to address peak readiness, hardware efficiency, scaling, and improve availability and resiliency
- Provide valuable design feedback and coding guidance to internal and external teams on best practices for developing within Audio services
