Sound Designer

Anna Davis Films is a film production company focused on creating visually compelling and emotionally resonant stories for diverse audiences. We are seeking a talented Sound Designer to shape the overall sonic landscape of our film and video projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design soundscapes and create immersive audio experiences that support the director’s vision
  • Create and edit sound effects, integrate foley recordings, and enhance dialogue and ambient audio
  • Collaborate on music cues and prepare final mixes for different delivery formats
  • Maintain organized audio sessions and asset libraries
  • Work closely with directors, producers, and editors throughout the post-production process
  • Participate in virtual review sessions and feedback cycles

Required Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sound Design and Foley for film and video storytelling
  • Proficiency in Audio Editing, including dialogue cleanup, sound effects editing, and basic mixing
  • Experience with Music and Music Production for score integration and soundtracks
  • Expertise with industry-standard DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic) and audio plug-ins
  • Understanding of film post-production workflows, file formats, and delivery standards
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and take feedback constructively
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant sound design work
  • Reliable communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Relevant education or training in audio engineering, sound design, or film production is beneficial
