Sound Designer – Part Time
SSi People is seeking a talented Sound Designer to join their remote team and elevate the audio experience for live sports broadcasts. The team is dedicated to crafting distinct sonic identities for each sporting event, ensuring an immersive viewer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver audio assets for on-air graphics packages, including opens, transitions, and lower thirds
- Support internal Staff Audio Designers within the product organization
- Establish and maintain a distinct sonic identity for each sporting event property
- Build and curate a sound effects library for the live sports team
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing audio for TV, film, games, commercials, or broadcast
- Experience shipping a high-profile project in one of the above mediums
- Deep understanding of sonic branding principles and how audio supports visual identity and viewer experience
- Proficiency in Pro Tools for session handoff and delivery
