A client based in the Istanbul area of Turkey is seeking an experienced sound recording and mixing engineer for a live concert event. This is a one-day freelance engagement requiring on-site presence at the concert venue.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, 30 May 2026, running from 20:30 to 21:30 (with a hard wrap by 22:00). The engineer must be present on-site prior to the performance to set up and conduct sound checks.
- Record live concert audio to a professional broadcast-ready standard
- Mix live sound during the performance (20:30–21:30)
- Ensure clean, high-quality audio capture throughout the event
- Be available for setup, sound check, and post-show wrap by 22:00
- Bring appropriate professional recording and mixing equipment
The ideal candidate will have proven experience recording and mixing live concert events, familiarity with professional audio equipment, and the ability to work efficiently under live performance conditions. Candidates must be located in or able to travel to the Istanbul area of Turkey for this date.
