About the Role

We are seeking a Sounds Business Operations Manager to join our client’s team, a leader in the Media space. This role will own program and business operations support for a specialized audio development function, helping drive execution across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

The person in this seat will bring structure to planning, communication, and follow-through while supporting priorities that span product, engineering, production, and partnerships. Success in this role will mean keeping initiatives moving, surfacing risks early, and strengthening the team’s operational rhythm. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and can connect day-to-day operations to broader business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own senior program management across the audio development team, tracking workstreams, milestones, and deliverables
  • Proactively surface blockers and coordinate solutions across teams
  • Represent the audio development team’s needs and priorities in product roadmap discussions and planning cycles
  • Coordinate between the audio development team and Product/Engineering teams on shared workstreams and initiatives
  • Own the operational cadence of the team, managing meeting schedules and action item tracking
  • Manage and report on the audio development budget and track spend across production and partnerships
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks across contracting, approvals, and tracking

Required Qualifications

  • 3-6 years in program management, content operations, or business operations, ideally in a music, media, or subscription business
  • Strong program and project management skills, with experience managing complex, multi-team workstreams
  • Comfortable owning meeting cadences, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience working with budgets and financial tracking
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work through ambiguity without waiting to be told what to do

Benefits

  • Competitive pay with annual reviews and equity opportunities
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company match
  • 12-20 weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Flexible remote work options with access to office hubs
  • Annual learning budget
