Position Overview

Voicing Change Media, a podcast creator network launched by Rich Roll and RXR Sports, seeks an experienced and highly organized Studio Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art studio space in Westlake, CA. This individual will manage podcast recording schedules, track studio activities, handle billing, provide production support, and lead front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Podcast Recording Scheduling & Production: Manage and coordinate podcast recordings, ensuring smooth transitions between sessions. Provide hands-on support during studio sessions with setup and coordination. Communicate with clients to confirm schedules and logistics. Serve as main point of contact for podcasts recording in the space. Maintain professional, welcoming environment.
  • Freelancer Team Management: Build and maintain talented pool of freelance videographers, editors, and photographers. Schedule and coordinate freelancer assignments based on needs. Provide ongoing support and guidance ensuring quality output. Track studio usage and resources for accurate records.
  • Financial & Administrative: Collaborate with finance team on client invoicing and freelancer payment. Resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain organized systems for all operational tracking.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee day-to-day studio operations and coordinate network-wide events.

Requirements

5+ years experience in operations or management in creative media industry. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Experience with studio management tools and basic accounting/billing systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Passion for podcasting and proactive problem-solving attitude.
