About the Role

BuzzFeed Tasty is seeking a detail-oriented recipe editor to support Editorial and Branded teams. You will be responsible for copyediting recipes and social captions submitted by the culinary team, creators, and external talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of all Tasty.co recipes for editorial and branded projects, including video copy, recipe titles, and headers
  • Write and edit recipe roundups as needed
  • Work with the SEO team to keep content up-to-date and adherent to SEO best practices
  • Support creative content and cross-platform initiatives

What You’ll Bring

  • Deep culinary knowledge, specifically related to recipe writing and food media
  • Understanding of Tasty’s unique point of view
  • Organized and self-starter mindset with ability to improve existing systems
  • Detail-oriented approach to copyediting and content quality

This is a remote role with workspace available in LA and NYC offices if you prefer to work in-office.
