Video & Audio Production Assistant
Public Strategies, a nationally respected consulting and media production firm based in Oklahoma City, is seeking a Part-time Video & Audio Assistant. This is an on-demand, project-based role working on diverse video production projects across corporate, government, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with production needs on set, including camera operation and technical support
- Handle lighting and grip equipment during video shoots
- Record and mix audio on location for video production
- Perform post-production audio mixing and editing
- Edit video using professional NLE (Non-Linear Editing) software
- Support project producers with technical and creative needs as assigned
Ideal Candidate
- Experience operating various cameras and video equipment
- Proficiency with lighting and grip equipment
- Experience with audio recording, mixing, and post-sound production
- Knowledge of NLE and video editing software
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs of equipment and move throughout facilities and the community
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training or experience in Audio/Video Production or related field
