About the Role
Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are seeking a Film and Video Editor to create high-quality video deliverables and support cutting-edge AI research. This is a flexible, contract-based position with a 3-4 week duration.
Key Responsibilities
- Create professional video editing deliverables addressing common client requests
- Review peer-developed video content to enhance quality and AI research outcomes
- Work independently and asynchronously to diagnose and solve domain-specific video editing challenges
- Contribute specialized expertise to cutting-edge AI research initiatives
- Maintain high standards of quality while working on a flexible, asynchronous schedule
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in film and video editing
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks asynchronously
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to address technical and creative challenges
- Immediate availability preferred
Position Details
- Compensation: $60–$80/hour
- Duration: 3–4 weeks
