Role Description This is a full-time, Remote Video Editor role. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into cohesive, engaging videos, including cutting, trimming, and sequencing clips to match project briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and graphics, syncing audio, and ensuring consistent visual quality across all deliverables. The role involves collaborating with producers and other team members to refine concepts, implement feedback, and meet production timelines. The Video Editor will also help organize media assets, maintain project files, and contribute creative ideas to improve video content and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience assembling and refining footage into final deliverables.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with an eye for consistency, mood, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance video content.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Solid understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, compression, and export settings for different platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
- Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in film, multimedia, communication, or a related field.
