Morgan & Morgan is seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our creative team in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning video content that aligns with our brand identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at meeting tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content, ensuring high-quality output that meets project requirements and brand standards
- Collaborate closely with creative team to understand project objectives, creative direction, and stakeholder expectations
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, even under pressure
- Incorporate feedback and revisions into edits, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and motion graphics
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, offering innovative ideas
- Participate in team meetings, presentations, and reviews to share progress and insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with strong portfolio showcasing editing skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with keen eye for visual storytelling and design
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Dependable and committed to working onsite 4 days per week
- Knowledge of video production workflows, formats, and codecs is a plus
