Video Editor – Podcast & Digital Media

Asesor-AT is seeking a creative and dynamic Video Editor to join our podcast production and digital media project. We’re looking for someone with excellent audiovisual judgment, current social media trends knowledge, and the ability to transform raw recordings into engaging, relevant, high-impact content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit audiovisual content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube
  • Extract and transform the best moments from podcasts into attractive, dynamic content pieces
  • Edit long-form videos for YouTube while maintaining rhythm, narrative, and audience engagement
  • Create YouTube thumbnails and miniaturas with visual criterion to maximize click-through rates
  • Adapt content to different formats, durations, and platforms
  • Incorporate subtitles, text, graphics, effects, cuts, and visual resources as needed
  • Identify high-potential moments for engagement, virality, and audience retention
  • Conduct daily research on content trends, formats, and performing videos across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Analyze references from other creators, podcasts, and media to identify new content opportunities
  • Propose ideas and formats based on current trends and audience behavior
  • Collaborate with the production team to transform studio recordings into high-quality digital content

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, Content Editor, Social Media Content Creator, or similar role
  • Expert proficiency in video editing for digital content
  • Specific experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube videos
  • Ability to create attractive and effective YouTube thumbnails
  • Strong judgment for determining what makes content interesting, entertaining, and shareable
  • Current knowledge of trends, formats, and high-performing social media content
  • Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
  • Creative, proactive profile with initiative to propose new ideas
  • Attention to detail and commitment to content quality
  • Prior experience with podcasts, content creators, media, entertainment, or audiovisual production is valued
  • Bilingual capability and advanced English is a plus
