At Speaker’s Cut, we specialize in crafting high-impact keynote speaker demo reels that showcase top speakers, thought leaders, and performers to the world. We are expanding our creative roster and looking for a talented Junior Video Editor to join our team on a project basis.
About the Role
As a Junior Editor on our roster, you will work hand-in-hand with our producers and under the supervision of our Senior Editor to shape narrative-driven, visually engaging demo reels.
- Volume: Approximately 1 to 2 demo reels per month.
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote.
- Compensation: Competitive project-based rate (discussed during the interview process).
What You’ll Do
- Craft high-energy, story-driven keynote speaker demo reels using client footage and assets.
- Collaborate closely with our producers to execute the creative vision for each speaker.
- Incorporate feedback and guidance from our Senior Editor to maintain quality and polish.
- Integrate text, graphics, and music to complement the narrative pace and keep viewers engaged.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Storytelling Focus: A strong background or natural feel for narrative-style editing.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with motion graphics, dynamic transitions, and text animation
- Prior experience editing speaker, talent, or event demo reels.
- Soft Skills: Great communication, openness to feedback, and strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
