Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of video assets for distribution across all channels
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality, flawlessly edited videos
- Take ideas from script to screen by telling compelling stories with graphical elements
- Ingest and organize footage using predetermined directory structure and backup protocols
- Download and organize all assets including logos, brand guides, and fonts
- Find selects in raw footage and audio
- Source music tracks that fit the project vibe
- Meet project delivery dates according to assigned schedules
- Prepare final video assets according to specifications
- Develop creative ideas that map back to clients’ goals
- Produce fresh, high-quality content maintaining creative direction and brand consistency
- Stay current with industry trends and latest software/equipment
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting
Requirements
- Experience editing across multiple mediums (documentaries, short-form, narrative, commercials)
- Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Conceptual thinking with typography and design expertise
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
- Excited to work in a small, interdisciplinary, fast-paced team
- Expert in Adobe Premiere CC and Media Encoder
- Proficient in After Effects CC and Photoshop CC
- Ability to work in HD, UHD, and all digital video formats
- Experience preparing files for color correction and sound design
- Troubleshooting expertise with workflows and render/export problems
- Comfortable collaborating in team settings
