Video Editor
Turing is seeking experienced Video Editors to work on AI evaluation and improvement projects. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in video editing, storytelling, and post-production workflows to help evaluate and improve AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and solve real-world video editing and storytelling scenarios to test AI reasoning
- Write clear, structured explanations covering editing workflows, visual continuity, and creative decision-making
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, technical quality, and alignment with professional editing standards
- Collaborate with AI researchers to strengthen model understanding of editing logic, narrative flow, and visual storytelling principles
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Film Editor, Video Editor, or Post-Production Specialist
- Strong understanding of editing software and workflows (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Ability to explain technical and creative editing concepts clearly and concisely
- No prior AI experience required
