Video Podcast Production Manager
Grow Channels is building the best business podcast in the world and seeking an exceptional production leader to drive this vision. This is a founding role for someone ready to become the executive architect of a high-impact podcast operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all production aspects: directing, videography, audio engineering, and editing for broadcast-quality episodes
- Source and manage all production equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones, studio space)
- Execute multi-camera shoots end-to-end with cinematic quality
- Edit long-form content optimized for audience retention and engagement
- Collaborate on guest sourcing, research, and interview preparation
- Build and scale the production team underneath you
- Develop systems and processes that enable consistent, excellent output across 200+ episodes
Requirements
- Proven ability to shoot, light, mic, direct, edit, and color professional content independently
- Deep understanding of YouTube metrics, retention graphs, CTR, and platform-native optimization
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating broadcast-quality production work
- Experience producing or working behind a successful podcast or YouTube channel
- Systems-oriented mindset with ability to document, templatize, and compound processes
- Obsessive attention to detail and ruthless editorial standards
- YouTube-native sensibility and understanding of content optimization
- All-in mentality and willingness to invest heavily in building something exceptional

You’re physically uncomfortable with mediocrity and believe in the potential of this project enough to commit fully. You’re a one-person production band capable of delivering expensive-looking content solo, and you’re ready to scale that into a team.
