About the RolePOLA Marketing is seeking a talented Video Editor / Colorist to join our creative team. This role is focused on post-production, transforming professionally captured footage into polished, cinematic content that helps brands stand out.You’ll work on a variety of commercial, branded, documentary, and social media projects for regional and national clients. - ResponsibilitiesEdit commercial, branded, documentary, and social media video content from raw footage through final delivery.
- Perform professional color correction and cinematic color grading using DaVinci Resolve.
- Mix and enhance dialogue, music, and sound effects for polished final audio.
- Create titles, graphics, and simple visual effects when needed.
- Organize media, maintain project files, and manage efficient post-production workflows.
- Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and clients to implement revisions and feedback.
- Export and deliver content across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Help maintain consistency in editing style, pacing, and visual quality across all client work.
- Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and post-production technology.
- Qualifications3+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of color correction, cinematic color grading, and finishing workflows.
- Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills.
- Experience with audio editing, cleanup, and sound design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to accept feedback, collaborate with a creative team, and work independently when needed.
- A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating professional editing and color grading experience.
- Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a marketing agency, production company, or creative studio.
- Knowledge of Fusion or Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
- Experience working with RED, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, or similar cinema camera footage.
- Familiarity with Blackmagic Cloud and collaborative DaVinci Resolve workflows.
- Experience editing content for advertising, branded campaigns, and social media.
