Voice Artist – AI Speech & Audio Recording
Crossing Hurdles is seeking talented voice artists for AI speech and audio recording projects. This contract position requires 5–10 hours per week and offers hourly rates up to $150/hr. Your voice may be used for voice cloning in CX agent systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples across diverse script types including conversational, narrative, and instructional content
- Deliver clear, expressive speech with precise control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation across multiple takes
- Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery throughout the project duration
- Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment setup, microphone configuration, and file formatting
- Provide vocal variation in emotion, emphasis, and style as directed
Requirements
- Strong experience in voice acting, narration, dubbing, podcasting, or broadcast performance
- Professional or near-professional home recording environment (quality microphone, pop filter, acoustically quiet space)
- Strong intonation, diction, and emotional range across multiple vocal styles
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while sustaining natural, human-sounding delivery
- Preferred: Experience recording for TTS datasets, audiobooks, IVR systems, or speech model training
