About This Role
Voices is hiring fluent speakers for a freelance project to record voice samples in multiple languages for AI training purposes. This is a one-time freelance engagement with no follow-up work required. Selected candidates will record at least 1 hour of audio from home in their strongest or most fluent language.
Key Responsibilities
- Record provided scripts in a quiet environment
- Deliver high-quality audio files in accordance with audio specifications
- Complete approximately 1 finished hour of audio (9000 words) using provided scripts
- Deliver audio files within 2 days of hiring date
- Participate in the application process, which may include providing a short audio sample (under one minute) to confirm recording quality
Requirements & Qualifications
- Fluent in one of the listed languages: English, French (France), Spanish (South America), Portuguese (Brazil), German, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Tagalog, Japanese, Russian, Korean, or Mandarin
- Professional-level fluency in the posted language
- Access to a quiet space for high-quality voice recording
- Access to high-quality recording equipment (microphone and soundproofing necessary)
- Previous experience in voice acting, narration, or broadcasting is required
- Ability to create an account on the Voices platform for all recordings and communication
- Willingness to sign various agreements, including an NDA
